Michael Dean Summers

Michael Dean Summers of Cuba, Missouri was born October 1, 1956 in Desloge, Missouri to the union of Dale W. and Edna (Powell) Summers and left from this life on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 53 years. Michael was united in marriage to his soul mate Pamela 郢邀邜Irene郢邀邝 Johansen on September 11, 1975 and to this union two sons were born Chris and Jeremy. Michael was a Lab Technician for 33 years at BIPACCO Coatings in Cuba. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time and taking care of his family and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his parents Dale W. and Edna (Powell) Summers; one brother William D. Summers; mother-in-law Patricia Omstead and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife and soul mate Pam 郢邀邜Irene郢邀邝 Summers; two sons Chris and wife Sara Summers and Jeremy Summers; two grandchildren Cheyenne and Chase Summers all of Cuba, Missouri; two brothers Don and wife Tiny Summers of Nixa, Missouri, Jerry and wife Connie Summers of Cuba, Missouri; one sister Barbara Short of Leasburg, Missouri; father-in-law Don and wife Nancy Johansen of Chicago, Illinois; two brother-in-laws Steve and wife Joby Omstead, Herman Omstead both of Coffeville, Kansas; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Don Morrison, officiating. Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
