Mary Katherine De Clue of Cuba, Missouri was born April 3, 1948 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of William and Elsie (Nee: Watson) Stubblefield and left from this life surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Cuba at the age of 66 years. Mary use to own Mary's Café here in Cuba for several years. Later she became a telemarketer and then retired from Majic Market, where she was the store manager. Mary enjoyed dancing, cooking, watching the Golden Girls and Storage Wars. She drank Lemon Lime Soda and ice tea with her cookies and candy. She sang karaoke and liked going to the boat. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. Mary was a loving daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, step daughter, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary is preceded in death by her parents William and Elsie Stubblefield, sister-in-law Gail Stubblefield, daughter-in-law Cenda Melton and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving children Eva Moore and friend Tina of Cuba, Angie and husband Ron Carl of Steelville, Mary and husband Luis Leija of Rolla and Johnny and wife Lindsey De Clue of Steelville, step children Dale and wife Kim Adams of Barnhart, Missouri, Connie Portell and Vickie Adams of Pevely, Missouri, fourteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, step grandchildren, one sister Barbara and husband Wayne Atkins of Litchfield, Illinois, two brothers William Stubblefield of Bonne Terre, Missouri and Kenny and wife Barbara Stubblefield of House Spring, Missouri, step mother Gladys Stubblefield of St. Louis, Missouri, step sisters Dinah, Linda and Patty, step brothers Matt and Joe, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba. Special music will be "Amazing Grace", "The Baby" and "I'm Gonna Love You Through It". Honored to serve as pall bearers will be Cody, Trevor, Roger, Dale, Nick, Luis, Ron and Alberto. Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Mary's family.
