Mary B. Miller of Cuba, Missouri was born Wednesday, May 30, 1962 at Mexico, Missouri to the union of John Henry and Geraldine M. (nee: Summers) Brandenburger and left from this life on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 48 years 1 month and 18 days. Mary was united in marriage to Joseph A. Miller April 6, 1991 at Cuba, Missouri. Mary was the proud owner and operator of Java.Net Books and Gifts and before that she worked for the Crawford County R-II School District in the administration building where she was the Superintendents secretary. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Tri-C Club and the Cuba Chamber of Commerce. She currently served as a board member for the Crawford County R-II School District and the Cuba Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crocheting, scrap booking, humming birds and listening to her scanner. She truly enjoyed weekend trips camping and fishing with her husband and family. She collected sunflowers, Santa Clauses and exercise items and always attended the Cuba Wildcats sporting events. Mary was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, grammy, aunt, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to everyone. She will be deeply missed and her smile never forgotten by all who knew and loved her. Mary is preceded in death by her parents John Henry and Geraldine Brandenburger, brother Randy Hamlett and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving husband Joe Miller of the home, three beautiful daughters Jessica Griffin of St. Clair, Missouri, Danielle and husband Christopher Thurman of Branson, Missouri and Kelsey Jo Miller of the home, four amazing grandchildren Gavin, Cheyanne, Lilly and Lexi, one brother John Brandenburger of Marble Head, Ohio, three sisters Rhonda and husband Terry Sampson of Hannibal, Missouri, Jerri and husband Wes Sites of Washington, Missouri and Karen Brandenburger of Marthasville, Missouri, mother-in-law and father-in-law Jane and Stanley Miller of Cuba, uncles Jack and wife Diane Brandenburger of Argyle, Texas and Bill and wife Pearl Brandenburger of Cuba, aunt Joan Kespohl of Cuba, brother-in-law Donnie and wife Renee Miller of St. James, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 4 till 8 PM at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Cuba with Father James Finder as celebrant. Prayers and interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mary B. Miller Scholarship Fund, Phelps County Home Care and Hospice, Holy Cross Church or Holy Cross School in Maryé¢éés memory. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Miller family.
