Mark A. Brenton

Mark Allen Brenton of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, December 23, 1957 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Don and Jacqueline 郢邀邜Jackie郢邀邝 Brenton and left from this life on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 52 years 11 months and 7 days. Mark graduated from the University of Missouri St. Louis UMSL. After graduation he taught Spanish for many years and even lived in Spain for a couple of years. Mark enjoyed working outside mowing grass, taking care of the garden, cutting wood and fishing. He could can anything grown in the garden. What he truly enjoyed most was spending time with family and friends. Mark was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, grandson, uncle, great uncle, cousin, nephew, great nephew and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mark is preceded in death by his grandparents; F.L and Elinor Brenton and Ted and Mickey Barlwos and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving parents Don and Jackie Brenton of Cuba, two brothers Don and wife Sharon Brenton Jr. of Lebanon, Missouri and John Paul and wife Lisa Brenton of Bland, Missouri, one sister Lisa Telle of Leslie, Missouri, nieces and nephews Blake, Brooke, Andrea, Tessa and Morgan Brenton, Andy Telle, Lara (Mike) Hemby and Brooke Fulliam, great nieces and great nephews Sarah, Adam, Chloe, Alex and Nadia Hemby, two uncles Ted and wife Randee Barlows of Springfield, Missouri and Robert and wife Judith Barlows of Auborn, Alabama, one aunt Lilly Scott of West Chester, Ohio, one great aunt Fern Hirzy of Bourbon, Missouri; cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the John Hopkins Research Center for Pancreatic Diseases in Mark's memory. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Brenton family.
