Marie Enloe

October 13, 1927 — May 8, 2022

Marie Vincent Enloe of Cuba, Missouri was born on October 13, 1927, in Cook Station, Missouri to the union of Henry and Mary (Veach) Taber. She left this life on Sunday, May 8, 2022, in Cuba MO at the age of 94.

Marie was united in marriage to Forest Vincent on September 7, 1942, in Steelville, Missouri. To their union three children were born Emmajean, Patsy and Earl. After Forest passed away, she married Melvin Enloe on May 17, 1991.

Marie, known to many as Granny, was a joy to be around. In the early 1940’s Marie joined the First Baptist Church in Cuba where she remained a member. Marie was proud of winning the 1st place trophy in the Cuba Lanes Women’s Bowling League and a Blue Ribbon for her apple sauce cake at the Crawford County Fair. Marie worked for Cuba Shoe Companies and made many friends. She enjoyed dancing, old western movies, cooking, baking, and bowling. As a resident of Victoria Manor, she loved birthday celebrations and holidays and was a member of the awesome 90 plus gang.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Mary (Veach) Taber; husbands Forest Vincent and Melvin Enloe; infant daughter Patsy, brothers Raymond, Amos, and Everett and sister Grace Walls.

Those who treasure her memory and continue her legacy are her children Emmajean (Vincent) Lauck of Springfield, Earl (Nancy) Vincent of Cuba; grandchildren Diana (Bill) Healy of Leawood KS, Dena (Rick) Hope of Rolla, Tonya (Scott) Farace of Cuba, Marcus (Karen) Lauck of Springfield, Jessica (Doug) Easler of Chesterfield; great-grandchildren Brad (Joni) Patterson of Woodvine GA, Anna (Justin) Groover of Grainvalley MO, Bethany (Dane) Bartle of Trafalgar IN, Alexandrea Farace of Cuba, Rochelle Hope (Chris) of Rolla, Emily Lauck of Springfield, Madison Farace of Cuba, James Healy of Leawood KS, Marcus Lauck III of Springfield, Eileen Healy of Leawood, KS, Macy Marie, Jett, David and Muzetta Easler of Chesterfield,; great-great-grandchildren Zachary, Adelyn, Wyatt, Makenna, William, Westyn, Waylon, Tucker, Remington, Draco, Aubrey, Bradley, Temperance, and Everett; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 13, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022, 12:00 p.m. at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Jim Moore, officiating.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers Bill Healy, Rick Hope, Scott Farace, Marcus Lauck, Doug Easler and Dane Bartle

In lieu of Flower memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Cuba or the Salvation Army.
