Margaret Jane (Wenzel) Valley

Margaret Jane Valley of Leasburg, Missouri was born on March 29, 1949, in Crawford County, Missouri to the union of Kenneth and Doris (Danielson) Wenzel. She left from this life on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Cuba Manor at the age of 73.

Jane worked at Wal-Mart and later at Meramec Shoe Factory, before becoming disabled. She was the proud mother of twin boys George and Jerry. She enjoyed watching The Walton’s, crocheting, reading “Murder She Wrote” books and she loved cookies and soda.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Doris (Danielson) Wenzel.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving sons George Valley and Jerry Valley both of Leasburg; four sisters Donna and husband Al Summers of Anutt, Joyce Wenzel of Leasburg, Ruth and husband Royce Missey of Leasburg, Patty and husband Bob Mesger of Sullivan; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin officiating.

Interment will follow at Lick Creek Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
