Margaret F. Broshous of Sullivan formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, July 2, 1922 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of John and Catherine (nee: Haase) McQuaide and left from this life on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 86 years 10 months and one day. Margaret was a clerk for Cuba Manufacturing Company before going to work for Great Plains Gas Company of Cuba. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. After retiring she enjoyed watching QVC, Home Shopping Network and the SCI-FI channels along with Judge Judy. In her spare time she enjoyed a box of Russell Stover, knitting, reading, eating out at the Du Kum Inn with her family and spending time with her four friends from Sullivan. Margaret was a loving daughter, sister, mother, mother-n-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents John and Catherine McQuaide and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her daughter Karlene and husband Rick Becklenberg of Belle, Missouri, son Kevin Broshous of Sullivan, Missouri, one grandson Steve and wife Missy Lanham, three great grandchildren B.J., Carrick and Keegan, three brothers John and wife Ruth McQuaide of Chesterfield, Missouri, James and wife Marge McQuaide of O郢邀邙Fallon, Missouri and Jerry and wife Betty McQuaide of Mountain Home, Arkansas, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 5 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Thursday, May 7, 2009 with Father James Finder as celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society in Margaret郢邀邙s memory. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Broshous family.
