Marcella Marie Ives

Marcella Marie Ives of Florissant formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, May 4, 1934 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Ed and Grace (nee: Jamieson) Dyer and left from this life on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 76 years 2 months and 6 days. Marcella was united in marriage to Don Ives and to this union three children were born, Pam, Steve and 郢邀邜Donnie郢邀邝. Marcella spent her life taking care of her family and during the 1970郢邀邙s she was a hairdresser for a few years. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, former member of the Steelville Eastern Star and had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Cuba for many years. She enjoy collecting 郢邀邜Llardos郢邀邝, 郢邀邜Hummels郢邀邝 and Christmas Ornaments. But what she loved most was her family and spending time with them. Marcella was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Marcella is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Grace Dyer, son 郢邀邜Donnie郢邀邝 Ives, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving husband Don Ives of the home, daughter Pam Schwieder of Florissant, son Steve and wife Theresa Ives of Cuba, four grandchildren Caleb Ives of Ellisville, Malachi Ives of Ellisville, Ian Ives of Cuba and Alex Schwieder of Florissant, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Cuba (606 W Myrtle) with Pastor Jerry Beers officiating. Special music will be provided by Brian Taylor. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your Charity of Choice in Marcella郢邀邙s memory. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Ives family.
