Lulleen Berry

Lulleen Berry of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of William F. and Nannabelle (Lisle) Talburt on November 4, 1924 at Aurora, Missouri and left from this life on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 84 years 5 months and 19 days. Lulleen retired as a cook from the Briarwood Manor after many years of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her trips to the Cuba Library. She also enjoyed farming, gardening, animals, being outdoors, a game of pinochle and spending time taking care of her family and friends. Lulleen is preceded in death by her parents William F. and Nannabelle (Lisle) Talburt; two brothers Duane and Wallace Talburt; one sister Billie Talburt and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to cherish her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving daughter Nancy and husband Robert Kent of Cuba, Missouri; son Gary and wife Ruth Berry of St. Charles, Missouri; five grandchildren Robert and wife Jeannine Kent, Brandy and husband Mark McMillen, Natalie and husband Jay Smeltser, Laura and Sarah Berry; eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Private family services will be held. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Berry family.
