Louise Dease Coffey of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, October 12, 1926 at Laurel, Mississippi to the union of John and Gladys Louise (nee: White) Dease and left from this life on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan at the age of 85 years. Louise retired after thirty years of dedicated service as a Data Programmer for the Civil Service Department of Defense located at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. Louise always enjoyed working outside in her flower gardens. Louise was a loving daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Louise is preceded in death by her parents John and Gladys Dease, two sisters Juanita and husband Roy Pitts and Pat Turan Schultz, three brother-in-laws Van Blackledge, Raymond Turan and Walter Schultz and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her son Claude Coffey of Cuba, one daughter Geneva Louise and husband Ken Conner of Johnson City, Tennessee, one granddaughter Heather and husband David Klein of Durango, Colorado, two sisters Mildred Blackledge of Pascagoula, Mississippi and Norma and husband Jerry Gardner of Biloxi, Mississippi, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba with Pastor Paul Lathum officiating. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Coffey family.
