Loretta Pauline White nee Reiner of Leasburg, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 21 days. She was born on January 13, 1926 in Leasburg, Missouri to the late James Jacob and Elsie Mae Reiner nee Miller of Leasburg. On August 28, 1948 she was united in marriage to Joseph M. White, Jr. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri. Loretta and Joe moved to Leasburg from Spanish Lake, Missouri in 1970 where they built and operated Coachlight Inn, now known as Skippy郢邀邙s for 17 years. She also worked at various jobs in St. Louis and at Meramec Shoe in Sullivan. She was a devoted wife and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. Her favorite pastime included spending time with her family and friends, feeding her hummingbirds, barbecuing, cooking superb meals, and relaxing on the Meramec River. She was preceded in death by her grandparents William Jackson and Martha Jane Miller nee Graddy of Leasburg, Jacob and Barbara Jean Reiner nee Luffy of Leasburg formerly of Germany, parents, step-father Joseph VanGilder, brothers James Reiner and Robert Reiner, an infant son at birth, brother in law Gene Niedbalski, great grandson Christian West, father in law Joseph M. White, Sr. and mother in law Ida Mae White nee Carson, sister in laws Georgia Ann Reiner nee Watson, Jean Helen Reiner nee Carter and Margaret Reiner nee Adams, brother in law and sister in law Ed and Mary White. Loretta is survived by her husband Joseph M. White, Jr. of Leasburg, and children Barbara and husband Don Moore of St. Louis, Constance and husband Jim Cornet of Ellisville, Cynthia and husband Bill King of Cuba, Joseph M. White III of Sullivan and Robert White of Leasburg, thirteen grandchildren Bill King Jr., Jennifer King, Laura and husband Shawn Tuschhoff, Teresa Moore, Amanda White, Candace White, Gail White, Alyssa White, Chad and wife Sonya Taylor, Brian Taylor, Stephanie Cornet, Kevin and wife Jennifer Cornet and Stephen White, ten great-grandchildren Abigeihl West, Nicholas West, Victoria King, Sara Tuschhoff, Ryan Tuschhoff, Cole Cornet, Cameron White, Zach White, Ian Taylor and Cailin Taylor. She is also survived by sisters Christina and husband Bob Copling of Cuba, Barbara Niedbalski of Cuba, one brother Walter Reiner of Cuba, sister in law Helen Reiner of Cuba, two sister in laws Margie Richichi of New York and Amelia Baltrusaitis of Rioosa, CA and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation Monday, May 5th from 5 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday, May 6, 2008 with Father James Finder and Chaplain Mike Hardwick officiating. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the White family.
