Lindell Scott Peterson

Lindell Scott Peterson of Gerald, Missouri was born Friday, July 29, 1955 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Johnnie and Martha L. (Nee: Frick) Peterson. He left from this life on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 63 years.

Scott, as he was known by, retired in 2000, after nearly 30 years of working as a boiler maker for refineries. He worked in refineries all over the United States and in many different countries.

After retirement, Scott enjoyed watching and listening to the baseball game. He enjoyed fishing, model cars and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

Scott was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Martha Peterson, two brothers Donnie and John Peterson and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his two sons; Elijah and wife Ashley Peterson of Omaha, Nebraska and Nathan and wife Jordan Peterson of St. Charles, Missouri, four amazing grandchildren; Audrey, Sayler, Kendall and Layla, two brothers; Thomas "Tommy" and wife Lynelle Peterson of Memphis, Tennessee, Mike and wife Donna Peterson of Herman, Missouri, three sisters Terry and husband Jerry Leslie of Washington, Missouri, Susie and husband Marc Labeau of Overland, Missouri and Missy Badgett and husband Greg Geno of Overland, Missouri, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba.

Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2019 at the Meramec Hill Cemetery, Cuba. Special music will be "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art".

The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Peterson family.
