Linda V. Mercer

Linda V. Mercer of Steelville, Missouri was born Saturday, April 18, 1959 at North Tonawanda, New York to the union of Vito and Rose (Nee: Tancorre) Valdagno. She left from this life on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her home at the age of 60 years.

Linda was united in marriage to Clarence Mercer and they were the proud parents of Tanya, Clarence and Jacob.

Linda spent her life taking care of others. She retired as a Registered Nurse, after many years of dedicated service, when her health began to decline. She spent hours playing the guitar and reading the bible. She truly treasured the time that she got to spend with her family and friends.

Linda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father Vito Valdagno, one brother-n-law Terry Dolan and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Clarence Mercer of the home, mother Rose Valdagno, four children; Tanya and husband Dionisio Bowen of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Clarence Mercer of Rolla and Jacob and wife Corinn Mercer of Dacula, Georgia, Kyle Mullinax of Chattanooga, TN; five grandchildren; Hannah, Jayda, Cailyn and Landon Mercer and Molly Bowen "4 legged grandchild", three sisters; Roseanne and husband Mike Schoenbaclor of Plain City, Ohio, Laura Dolan of Fort Meyers, Florida and Donna and husband Darrell Read of Cape Coral, Florida, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Linda's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
