Linda Lou Britton

Linda Lou Britton of Cuba, Missouri was born Tuesday, March 4, 1947 at Owensville, Missouri to the union of Ernest Alonzo and Georgia Helen Elizabeth (nee: Beaman) Britton and left from this life on Friday, September 03, 2010 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 63 years 5 months and 30 days. Linda worked as a gluer for Mid America Shoe Company in Cuba for nine years before it closed. She enjoyed growing flowers, loved her cats, shopping at resale shops and antique stores, watching the Wheel of Fortune and yellow butterflies. Linda was a loving daughter, sister, sister-n-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Helen Britton, one infant sister Sherry Britton and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her twelve brothers and sisters Judy McGuire of Rolla, Carol Sue and husband Leroy Crider of Cuba, Denver and wife Barbara Britton of Rolla, Peggy and husband Jack Hardin of Meta, Missouri, Dallas and wife Sharon Britton of Cuba, Nancy Baez of Camdenton, Missouri, Ray Britton of Cuba, Doug and wife Vicki Britton of Cuba, Terry Britton of Cuba, Larry Britton of Troy, Ohio, Karen King of Cuba and Garnet and wife Crystal Britton of Steelville, twelve nieces, ten nephews, 10 great nieces, 2 great nephews, uncles James and wife Edwina Britton, John and Cecilia Britton and Bob Dunham all of Cuba and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 5-8 pm at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, Sept 6, 2010 at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Special music will be 郢邀邜In The Arms of an Angel郢邀邝, 郢邀邜When I Get to Where I郢邀邙m Going郢邀邝 and 郢邀邜In the Garden郢邀邝. Prayers and interment will follow at the Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
