Lillie R. Siburt

Lillie R. Siburt of Cuba, Missouri was born October 6, 1921 at Marion, Illinois to the union of Emery Otis and Ida (Nee: Orr) Burnett and left from this life on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 92 years. Lillie was united in marriage to Fred Fox and to this union three daughters were born Delores, Ida and Betty. Lillie later married Tom Siburt and became the step mother of eleven children. Lillie spent her life taking care of her family. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, crocheting, word search puzzles and reading the Bible. She spent hours outside in her yard with her grandchildren and would always sing to them. Lillie liked coffee all day long and in the last few years was heard saying "I Love You Jesus". What was always most important to her was spending time with her family and friends. Lillie is preceded in death by her parents Otis and Ida Burnett, husbands Fred Fox and Tom Siburt, two daughters Ida Fox and Betty Buckner, son-in-law Bill Huggins, eleven siblings and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her daughter Delores Huggins of Bourbon, ten grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, step great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 till 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Harrison Brown officiating. Special music will be "Amazing Grace" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain". Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Lillie's family.
