Leroy Krewson

Leroy Krewson of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Robert L. and Sadie L. (Nee: Roso) Krewson, Sr. on Wednesday, December 9, 1959 in Rolla, Missouri. He left from this life, suddenly on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 58 years. Leroy worked all his life as a mechanic. He worked with his brother Lowell, at Krewson Conoco, for many years and most recently he worked at Uptown Auto. He spent hours playing video games and he was always tinkering with things. He treasured the time he spent with his friends and was always willing to help them or as some would say, "save a friend". Indeed, at the end of his life he did save others, by the donation of his organs, so that others may continue to live life. Leroy was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Leroy is preceded in death by his parents Robert L. and Sadie L. (Roso) Krewson, Sr. one brother Robert Lowell Krewson, Jr. one brother-in-law John Happel and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his adopted daughter Lacey Holt of Cuba; one granddaughter Bella Rose of Cuba; one brother James W. and wife Donna Krewson of Stoughton, Wisconsin; three sisters Loetta and husband Larry Gould of Tarpon Springs, Florida, Lorraine Happel of Cuba and Loree Ryan of Springfield, Missouri; special friend Lori Cole of Cuba, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 7:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Allen Smith, officiating. Leroy will be cremated, following the visitation and funeral service. His cremated remains will then be placed in the Columbarium at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Mizell Funeral Home. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Krewson family.
