Leroy B. Crider of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday, May 20, 1944 in Rosati, Missouri to the union of Bonnie and Victoria (Cuccarollo) Crider. He left from this life on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Frene Valley Nursing Home in Owensville, Missouri at the age of 76 years.
Leroy was united in marriage to Carol Sue Britton on October 2, 1963 in St. James, Missouri. To this union three children were born Ernest, Cindy Sue and Rebecca.
Leroy worked several years as a cattle farmer for the Brewer family. He would later work and retire from Dana Brake Parts. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading and spending time with his family and friends.
Leroy is preceded in death by his parents Bonnie Crider, Victoria (Cuccarollo) and Henry Mash; two brothers Claude Mash, Harold Crider; three sisters Audrey Bridgeman, Gladys Faulkner and Hazel Twillinger; one brother-in-law Denver Britton; three sisters-in-law Judy McGuire, Linda Britton and Baby Sherry Ann Britton.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife of fifty-seven years Carol Sue (Britton) Crider of the home; three children Ernest and wife Janey Crider of Cuba, Cindy Sue and husband Tony Capinpin of Rolla, Rebecca and husband Bobby Hinson of Rolla; four grandchildren Erica Shoultz, Jessica, Alyssa and Tyler Crider; two great-grandchildren Dimitry Chambers and Fenix Shoultz; two brothers Ronald and wife Becky Crider of Sullivan, Everett Mash of Cuba; four sisters Joyce Pierce of Rolla, Martha McCullough of Cuba, Henrietta Taber, Marie Nolting of Cuba; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dallas and wife Sharon Britton, Ray Britton, Doug Britton, Terry Britton, Larry Britton, Garnet Britton all of Cuba, Peggy Hardin of Meta, Nancy Baez of Eldon, Karen King of Cuba; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Summers, officiating.
Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba.
