Leo Richard Bogue, Sr.

Leo Richard Bogue, Sr. of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, June 5, 1911 at Villisca, Iowa to the union of Charles and Nellie (nee: Sears) Bouge and left from this life on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 95 years 8 months and 28 days. Leo was united in marriage to Alice Marie Geesaman on February 16, 1932 at Troy, Kansas and to this union seven children were born; Mary Ann, Patricia, Richard, Jerry, John, Shirley and Bill. Leo was a mechanic for 60 plus years, raised hogs, enjoyed fishing, traveling to Arizona or Texas in Old Red pulling an RV, camping and wood working, but what he enjoyed most was his family. Leo was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, great great grandpa, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend of many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Leo is preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Nellie Bouge, his wife Alice Bogue, one daughter Mary Lou Menz, one son in law John W. Menz, one daughter in law Millie Bogue, two brother Ralph and Jack Bouge and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to mourn his passing but to celebrate a life lived is his three sons; Richard Bogue of Cuba, Jerry and wife Donna Bogue of St. John's, Indiana, Bill and wife Wanda Bogue of Cuba, three daughters; Patricia and husband Charlie Waidmann of Cuba, Sharon and husband John Casarotto and Shirley Click, one sister in law Lilly Bouge of Prescott Valley, Arizona, nineteen grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday, March 6th from 4 to 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba. Funeral Service 1 PM Wednesday, March 7th at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba with Alan Miles officiating. Special music by Linda Fowler. Honored to be pall bears; Eric Gahr, Chris Crow, Jake Gassman, Charles Schroyer, Ronnie Woodruff, Ken Fowler and Pat Horsefield. Burial at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Bogue Family.
