Laura Bernice Hagler

Laura Bernice (Koby) Hagler 92 Died peacefully Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Westbrook Terrace Assisted Living in Jefferson City, Mo. Laura was born September 19, 1916 to Roy and Lucy Watkins in Jonesburg, MO. Two brothers William and Reece Watkins preceded her in death. Laura was married to Harry James Koby on March 27, 1937 He preceded her in death in 1985. She is survived by two children James Koby and wife Shearon of Camdenton and Joanne and husband Tom Winters of Jefferson City, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Laura was a member of Cuba United Methodist Church for many years. She resided at Indian Hills Lake where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Laura married Frank J. Hagler in Cuba, Mo in 1986. He currently resides at Community Manor in Farmington, Mo with Alzheimer郢邀邙s. They moved to Jefferson City and lived at Heisinger Bluffs then moved to Westbrook Terrace the last few years they were able to be together. Laura remained at Westbrook where she was well cared for the remainder of her life. Visitation will begin Monday, June 1, 2009 11:00 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri then followed by a graveside service 1:00 p.m. at Meramec Hills Cemetery with Pastor Paul Lathum, officiating. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Hagler family.
