Larry David Rowland

Larry David Rowland was born to the union of David A. and Thelma (Pratt) Rowland on Thursday, August 27, 1953 in Rolla, Missouri and left from this life on Thursday, April 1, 2010 in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri at the age of 56 years 7 months and 5 days. Larry grew up in the town of Bourbon and attended Bourbon Schools graduating from Bourbon High School in 1972. He was previously employed by Walmart of Cuba. He enjoyed being a weather watcher, particularly watching for storms. He also enjoyed reading history books, talking politics and finances, farming, his many cats and spending time with family and friends. Larry is preceded in death by his father David A. Rowland and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his mother Thelma (Pratt) Rowland of Cuba; sister Connie and husband Michael Stephens of Leasburg; two nieces Jennifer and husband John Lindsey of Columbia, Missouri and Sarah Stephens of Leasburg; aunt, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 6-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 10:30 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Interment will follow at Crow Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Rowland family.
