L. Konita Lang of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, January 8, 1912 at Ralls County, Missouri to the union of Lee Downing Lennox and Nellie Ray (nee: Oé¢ééKeefe) Lennox and left from this life on Monday, May 04, 2009 at Rolla, Missouri at the age of 97 years 3 months and 27 days. Konita was united in marriage to Edward A. Lang on June 2, 1940 at Ralls County, Missouri. They were happily married for 63 years. Konita was a 4th Grade School Teacher at Ritenour School District, St. Louis County for 32 years before she retired in 1977. She was a member of the Christian Church of Cuba and the Easter Star Cuba Chapter 398. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents Lee and Nellie Lennox, brother Kenneth Oé¢ééKeefe Lennox, sister Emma Lou Pridgeon, one nephew Larry Lennox and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her six nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, May 8, 2009 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service Friday, May 8, 2009 at 1 PM with Pastor Woody Martin officiating. Special music for the service is é¢ééIn The Gardené¢éé, é¢ééThe Old Rugged Crossé¢éé and é¢ééAmazing Graceé¢éé. Interment Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
