Keith Kirby

Keith Kirby of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Ray and Evelyn (Pauls) Kirby on December 19, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Saturday, July 11, 2009 in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 55. Keith proudly served his Country in the United States Marine Corps. from 1972-1975. He had many, many cherished friends. He never met a stranger and he loved having a good time. Keith is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Evelyn Kirby; eldest son Jason Ray Kirby and elder brother Bill Kirby. Those who are left to cherish his memory and to continue his legacy are the love of his life Chris Burkemper of the home; two daughters Samantha Kirby of Cuba, MO, Chrissy Kirby of Owensville, MO; two sons Kerry Hilborn and Aarin Pyle of Cuba, MO, Kenny Burkemper and Jessica Hendrickson of Cuba, MO; two sisters Norma Brown and husband Doug of Winfield, MO, Tina Kirby of Troy, MO; one brother Ray Kirby and Chris of Montgomery City, MO; grandchildren Stephen, Nathan, Karisa, Gabriel, Jerry, Shannon, Ethan and Shelly; two nieces Evelyn King and husband Tony of Troy, MO and Joanna Walter and husband Christopher of Troy, MO; great nephews Tony, Ethan and Zachary. A celebration of Keith's life will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 2-4 p.m. at The Rose 1109 E. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the Kirby family in care of Britton Funeral Home. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Kirby family.
