Kathy Mae Thornhill

Kathy Mae Thornhill of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Saturday, June 13, 1953, in Clinton, Missouri to the union of Elroy and Juanita (Johnson) Thornhill. She left from this life on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at St. James Living Center at the age of 69.

Kathy graduated from Bourbon High School, completed nursing school and became a registered nurse. She spent many years caring for others at local nursing homes. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and traveling.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Elroy and Juanita (Johnson) Thornhill.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her sister Anita Ray of Bourbon; brothers Danny (Carol) Thornhill of Salome, Arizona, David Thornhill of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Duncan Skiles, officiating.

Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, St. James, Missouri.
