Kathy J. House

Kathy Jean House of Cuba, Missouri was born on Thursday, May 31, 1951 in Sullivan, Missouri to the union of David and Violet (Chapman) Thomas. She left from this life on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri at the age of 70 years.

Kathy was united in marriage to Louis E. "Luke" House on December 27, 1969 in Ballwin, Missouri. To this union two children were born Tracey and Bob.

During her working career, Kathy worked for Brown Shoe Company, Chrysler, Wal-Mart and Cuba Manor. She was a member of Trinity Chapel Presbyterian Church. She always kept busy doing something and she found great joy in being outdoors, doing yard work and fishing. She loved traveling, helping the ladies in the kitchen at church and spending time with her family and friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents David Thomas and Violet J. (Chapman) Farris; husband Louis E. "Luke" House; one sister Chris White; one brother Richard Thomas; step-father Larry Farris; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Leonard House, Michael House, John (Linda) House, Jacqulyn House and Barb Thomas.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two children Tracey and husband Ron Hughes, Bob House all of Cuba; three brothers James Thomas of Robertsville, Jeff and wife Marie Thomas of Villa Ridge, Craig Thomas of San Antonio, Texas; one sister Karen Henry of Ballwin; step-mother Patricia Thomas of Ballwin; one sister-in-law Barb House of Cuba; one brother-in-law Robert White of Cuba; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 11:30 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Donna Schiro, officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Cuba Animal Shelter or Trinity Chapel Presbyterian Church.
