Kathy Ettinger-Campbell (nee: Setzer) of Cuba, Missouri was born on Thursday, January 1, 1948, in Berryman, Missouri. She left from this life surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 73 years.
Kathy Ettinger was united in marriage to Gregory Campbell on June 29, 2002, in Cuba, Missouri. She was his forever love and the one who put a spark in his eye.
Kathy had a passion for taking care of others and worked in her chosen career as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over forty plus years. Kathy enjoyed learning to be creative and discovered the art of cake decorating and operated ‘Kathy’s Kakes’. She also enjoyed canning, sewing, reading, designing shirts, being an enthusiastic St. Louis Cardinals fan, traveling, and camping. Her all-time favorite was spending time with her family and making sure all her grandchildren were loved and spoiled.
Kathy is preceded in death by her mother Lucille (Evans) Hill; one infant son Christopher Ettinger.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband Gregory Campbell of Cuba; two sons Louis “Tip” and wife Denise Ettinger, Tim and wife Lisa Ettinger all of Cuba; three step-children Kathleen Brooks of Sullivan, Amanda Campbell and fiancé Chris of Bourbon, Gregory and wife Ashley Campbell, Jr. of Sullivan; ten grandchildren Kylie and husband Colt McCauley of Lake of Ozarks, Kody Ettinger and friend Katie Sportsman of Lake of Ozarks, Jake Ettinger and fiancé Makenzie Wilson of Rolla, Jonathan Ettinger of Cuba, Jessi Ettinger and friend Lane Sanazaro of Cuba, Gustavo Brooks, Anthony “Tony” Brooks and Jayson Campbell all of Sullivan, Madison Campbell of Cuba, Caroline Campbell and Wyatt Farmer of Sullivan; two great-grandchildren Fallyn McCauley and Parker Ettinger; one brother John Koch and fiancé Donna Marquart of Washington; special niece Jessica Sharp and daughters Aaliyah Sharp and Emma Patterson all of Jacksonville, Florida; aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Pratt, officiating.
Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Cemetery, Steelville, Missouri.
If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
