Kathryn Louise Libhart of Eureka, Missouri formerly of Cuba, was born Monday, March 15, 1920 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of August and Clarabel (nee: Creason) Thurmond and left from this life on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Price Memorial Home in Eureka,éƒ‚é‚ Missouriéƒ‚é‚ at the age of 90 years 9 months and 27 days. Kathryn was united in marriage to Marvin DeWayne Libhart on October 10, 1938 at Vienna, Missouri and to this union four children were born Darlene, Pamela, Donald and James. She had spent her life taking care of her family. In her younger years she was a waitress at the Wagon Wheel, sold Avon and was the President of the Cuba School Board. She was a member of the Bourbon United Methodist Church. In her spare time She enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, playing the organ, reading magazines and going for a drive. Kathryn was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents August and Clarabel Thurmond, husband Marvin DeWayne Libhart, two brothers Modie and Kenneth Thurmond and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her children Darlene M. and husband Bill Hensley of Eureka, Missouri, Pamela L. and husband Bob Clay of St. Charles, Missouri, Donald M. and wife Jane Libhart of Cuba and James 郢邀邜Jim郢邀邝 E. and wife Sandi Libhart of South Hill, Virginia, sister-in-law Erma Thurmond of Cuba, thirteen grandchildren Darcell (Alen), Diana (Scott), Jeffrey, Jason, Mike (Karen), Matt (Angie), Mitchel, Don (Lisa), Suzette (David), Reggie (Elza), Chris (Margaret), Brad (Angie) and Leslie (Josh), twenty seven great grandchildren Jessica, Christopher, Nicholas, Samantha, Bradley, Madison, Mallory, Nicole, Garrett, Brittany, Kyle, Eli, Isaac, Randi, Hannah, Victoria, Emma, Jillian, Jordan, Jacob, Savanah, Ashley, Phoebe, Cole, Gabriel, Elise and Neely, one great-great grandchild Jaidyn, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 11 A.M. till 2 P.M. at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Paul Lathum. Interment and prayers will follow at the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Charity of Choice in Kathryn's memory. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Libhart family.
