Kathleen Winn

Kathleen Winn of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Fred and Laura (Keplinger) Stevens on January 8, 1922 in St. Joseph, Missouri and left from this life on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the age of 88. Kathleen was united in marriage to Elmer Winn on August 9, 1941 and to this union five children were born Fred, Bert, Laura, Colleen and Fanny. Kathleen was a homemaker and was a member of the United Church of God in Rolla, Missouri. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, bird watching, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Laura (Keplinger) Stevens; husband Elmer Winn; one brother Bert Stevens; one sister Maxine Aubuchon and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two sons Fred and wife Katy Winn of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Bert Winn of Sherman, Texas; three daughters Laura Marie and husband Paul Eaton of Warrenton, Missouri, Colleen Moreland of Cuba, Missouri, Fanny and husband Gary Stearns of St. James, Missouri; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Vince Szymkowiak, officiating. Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Winn family.
