Kathleen May Voss (nee: Belmont)

Kathleen May Voss of Sullivan, Missouri was born on May 30, 1936, in South Gate, California to Clarence E. and Ruth E. (Metcalf) Belmont. She left this life on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the age of 87.

Kathleen was united in marriage to Robert J. Voss on September 3, 1954, in Maywood, California. To this union four children were born John, Robert, Jeff and Nancy. Together they would share sixty-nine years of marriage, until Bob’s passing on September 6, 2023.

Kathleen was a successful Realtor for Century 21 in Sullivan for thirty years. She was known as the lady with the Big “K” ring. For eleven years, she was a motivational speaker for Weight Watchers.

Kathleen loved spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Clarence E. and Ruth E. (Metcalf) Belmont; husband Robert J. “Bob” Voss, Sr.; two brothers Richard and Fred Belmont; seven brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Viola Vilinski, Howard Voss, Virginia Baker, Harold Voss, Albert Louis Voss, Walter Voss and Edward Voss.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving four  children John Voss and friend Melody Buehrle of Sullivan, Robert Voss of Sullivan, Jeff and wife Trish Voss of Leasburg, Nancy and husband Paul Pfeiffer of Labadie; four grandchildren Annalise and husband Chris Ansley of Springfield, Kristen and husband Thorsten Walter of Munich, Germany, Diana Pfeiffer and William Pfeiffer both of Labadie; two great-grandchildren Hudson and Salem; former daughter-in-law Patti Voss of Branson; one sister Janet VanZandt of Scottsdale, Arizona; niece, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
