Kathleen E. Rowden

Kathleen E. 郢邀邜Kathy郢邀邝 Rowden of Leasburg , Missouri was born to the union of the late William F. and Violet K. (Miles) Joy on February 20, 1937 in Hampshire , England and left from this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in Cuba , Missouri at the age of 72 years 5 months and 22 days. Kathy was united in marriage to Allan F. Rowden on April 19, 1958 in Hampshire , England and to this union six children were born Linda, Debbie, Chuck, Tammy, Patrick and Mark. Kathy was a homemaker and a member of TOPS and Copling-Spreng A.L. Post #456 Ladies Auxillary. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, crafts and helping with the 4-H club. What she treasured the most was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and her dogs. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents William F. and Violet K. (Miles) Joy; husband Allan F. Rowden and two children Debbie Jo and Patrick Allan Rowden. Those who are left to cherish her memory and to continue her legacy are her four children Linda Sue and husband Larry Ransom, Charles Lee and wife Terri Rowden, Tammy Lynn and husband Barrie Byrd, Mark Allan and wife Rhonda Rowden all of Leasburg, Missouri; nine grandchildren Jeremy and wife Melissa Ransom, Tara and husband Lance Eikermann, Tori and husband Dave Smith, Jacob, Nicholas and Megan Rowden, Michael Byrd, Samuel and Anthony Rowden; one great-grandchild Morgan Ransom; one sister Peg and husband Maurice Champion of Hampshire, England; one brother Albert Joy of Hampshire, England; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday, August 13, 2009 1-3 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri followed by a Graveside service 3:30 p.m. at Lick Creek Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Rowden family.
