Julia Anderson

Julia Anderson of Cuba, Missouri was born Wednesday, July 7, 1915 at Ledwood, Missouri to the union of Thomas Chmielewski and Mary (nee: Tracz) Chmielewski and left from this life on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Rolla, Missouri at the age of 92 years 3 months and 23 days. Julia was united in marriage to William Anderson on November 27, 1937 at St. Louis, Missouri and to this union one daughter was born Brenda. Julia moved to Cuba in 1959 and worked for the shoe company and at the Dutch Barn before retiring. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, was an excellent cook, enjoyed taking care of her yard and flowers, but what she loved most was her family. Julia was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, great great aunt, sister in law and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Julia is preceded in death by her husband William Anderson, her parents Thomas and Mary Chmielewski, three brothers Alex Miles, Stanley Chmielewski and Walter Milewski and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to celebrate a life lived is her loving daughter Brenda and husband Richard Byrd of Cuba, Missouri, two grandchildren; Robert (Jenniffer Henderson) Yates and Lisa Yates, one great granddaughter Katelynn Yates and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation Sunday, November 4th from 4 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Graveside service 11 AM Monday, November 5th at Meramec Hills Cemetery.
