Judy Ann Gibbs

Judy Ann Gibbs of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of William R. "Bill" and Mary Elizabeth (Ruckman) Dodd, Sr. on October 31, 1948 in Sullivan, Missouri. She went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 70 years.

Judy was united in marriage to James "Jim" Gibbs on February 25, 1967 in St. James, Missouri and to this union two daughters were born Kimberly and Tiffany.

Judy along with her husband Jim owned and operated Jim & Judy's Cleaning Service for over 40 years. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Cuba. She loved taking care of her home and spoiling her husband, daughters and grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts and flower gardening.

Judy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; one brother Ernie Dodd; two brothers-in-law Harry Thomas and Ken Gibbs.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband James "Jim" Gibbs of Cuba, Missouri; two daughters Kimberly and husband Troy Foster of Charlestown, Indiana, Tiffany and husband Ben Bailey of Bonne Terre, Missouri; three grandchildren Sarah and husband Kyle Tilley of Carmel, Indiana, Zachariah Foster of Nabb, Indiana and Rachel Foster of Nabb, Indiana; one brother Billy and wife Linda Dodd of Cuba, Missouri; sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws Frances Thomas of Springfield, Missouri, Vera and husband Carl Price of Springfield, Missouri, Jolene Gibbs of Steelville, Missouri, Paul and wife Yvonne Gibbs of St. Charles, Missouri, Rhonda and husband Carrol Deal of Springfield, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Moore, officiating.

Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the First Baptist Church of Cuba or the International Myeloma Foundation.
