Judith Y. "Judy" Treece of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, March 6, 1939 at Cuba, Missouri to the union of Jesse E. and Clara E. (Nee: Durbin) Thoma. She left from this life on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her home in Cuba at the age of 81 years.
Judy was united in marriage to George William "Bill" Treece at Cuba in 1957. They were the proud parents of Greg and Nancy.
Judy started her working career at Central Hardware, then Wallis and she retired from the real estate business. Judy worked for Century 21 for twenty plus years as a real estate agent. She earned the Century 21 Top Salesperson on February 17, 1982.
She was a member of Trinity Chapel for many years before her health began to decline. Judy and Bill spent hours dancing together. What she truly treasured most in life was her family and spending time with them.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Clara Thoma; husband Bill Treece, two infant children Jeffrey and Connie Treece; brothers-in-law Bob Ringeisen and Dale Treece; and other family and friends.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving children Greg Treece of Cuba, Nancy Treece of Cuba; three grandsons Zach Treece, Wade Treece and Ryan Bouse all of Cuba; sister Mary and husband Ed Rutz of Cuba; brother-in-law Don and wife Mickey Treece of Cuba; sister-in-law Jane Ringeisen of Cuba, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Snell officiating. Special recorded music will be "The Old Rugged Cross", "Amazing Grace" and "I'll Fly Away".
Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in Judy's memory.
