Judith Ann Bruns

Judith "Judy" Ann Bruns of Cuba, Missouri was born October 27, 1941 at Desloge, Missouri to the union of Walter and Edna (nee: Roberts) Bridgewater and left from this life on February 15, 2011 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 69 years 3 months and 18 days. Judy was united in marriage to Robert J. Bruns on December 9, 1983 at St. Louis, Missouri. She worked as a packing coordinator for Procter and Gamble in St. Louis for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and raising her dogs Coco and Max. She made several trips to Meadow View Ranch (home for elderly animals) were she would spend hours feeding the animals. Judy was a loving daughter, wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her father Walter Bridgewater, mother Edna Bridgewater Wilson, step father Charles Wilson and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband Bob Bruns of the home, sister Peggy and husband Jim Vitali of Cuba, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Ralph and wife Kathy Bruns and Clarence and wife Terry Bruns all of St. Louis, Missouri, nieces and nephews Jackie and husband Jimmy Mace of Rolla, Tina and husband Paul Peereboom of Australia, Tammy and husband Mark Downing and Jim M. and wife Kathie Vitali all of Cuba, Keith and wife Robyn Bruns of Atlanta, Georgia, Tim Bruns of San Franciso, California and Stacie and husband Steve Bansbach of Fort Meade, Maryland, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Cuba with Father James Finder as celebrant. Honored to be serving as casket bearers are Jimmy Viali, Mark Downing, Chad Downing, Clarence Bruns, Randy Mace and Jim Gilliam. Interment and prayers will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to two of the places that were closes to Judy's heart: Meadow View Ranch, 27409 Missouri Drive, Lebanon, Missouri 65536 or Tri County Humane Society, PO Box 25, St. James, Missouri 65559. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Bruns family.
