Joseph E. 'Joey' 'Sepper' Hofstetter

Joseph E. "Joey" "Sepper" Hofstetter of Bourbon, Missouri was born on June 24, 1984 in Sullivan, Missouri and left from this life suddenly on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the age of 30. Joey enjoyed fishing, hunting for arrowheads, shopping, playing cards and was an avid Blues Hockey Fan. Joey is preceded in death by his grandparents Jack and Jeannie Hofstetter, Fred Pinkston; one aunt Linda DeClue; two uncles Michael Beeman and Jim Strosnider. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his parents Cynthia D. and husband Kurtis Schmidt of Arnold, Missouri, Albert H. Hofstetter, Sr. of Cuba, Missouri; one brother Albert H. Hofstetter, Jr. of Bourbon, Missouri; grandmother Shirley Pinkston of Bourbon, Missouri; one favorite niece Emily Ganira of Arnold, Missouri; faithful companion Annie; numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Kendall Hughes, officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at White Water Christian Cemetery in Perryville, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the White Water Christian Cemetery in Perryville, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hofstetter family.
