Jordan Blain Kent of Imperial, Missouri formerly of Cuba was born December 10, 1987 at St. Louis, Missouri to Robert "Rob" Kent II and Rhonda (Nee: Lawson) Kent and left from this life on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 23 years. Jordan had been working in construction for the past few years, but he was always working to make another dollar. He would do any odd job that someone needed done. Jordan was always working on his car stereo system, trying to make it the best. He kept care of the family cemetery, and was compassionate about helping others any way that he could and always said "Good Bye I Love You" before he would leave or hang up the phone. He had a great love for kids and family and if you needed him all you had to do was call and he was there. He enjoyed computers, video games, music and living life. Jordan was a loving son, step son, brother, step brother, grandson, step grandson, great grandson, nephew, great nephew, cousin and friend to everyone he ever met. He will be forever remembered and truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas J. Kent, step grandfather Bob Pohl, great grandparents Lulleen and Howard Berry, Marvin and Emma Lawson and William and Ellen Graham and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving mother Rhonda Kent of Branson, Missouri, father Rob and wife Jeannine Kent of Imperial, Missouri, one brother Bradley Alan and wife Nicole Kent of Branson, Missouri, step brother Brian Swasey, step sister Natalie Swasey both of Imperial, Missouri, one nephew Kaleb Kent of Branson, grandparents Bob and Nancy Kent of St. James and Kenneth and Nova Lawson of Cuba, great grandmother Norma Jean Pohl of St. James, aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins and many many friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 5 till 8 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Steven Wick officiating. Family and friends are honored to serve as pall bearers. Private interment and prayers will follow in St. James, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family in care of Mizell Funeral Home. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Jordan's family.
