John L. Voll of St. James, Missouri was born Monday, December 1, 1947 to the union of George and Eileen (Nee: Bushey) Voll. He left from this life on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at his home at the age of 72 years.
John retired as a manger for a Nuclear Chemical Plant in Illinois after many years of dedicated service.
John was united in marriage to Vicky on October 31, 2009. They enjoyed ten and half years before she preceded him in death on April 16, 2020.
John enjoyed riding four wheelers and being outdoors. He was known as Mr. Wilderness or John the Maintenance Man.
He was a loving son, husband, brother, brother-in-law, father, stepfather, uncle, great uncle, and friend of many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Eileen Voll; wife Vicky Voll; one brother Steve Voll; one sister Jenny and other family and friends.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his caretaker and like a son Troy Richardson of St. James; daughter Jill Hart; one sister Carol Voll of California; two step sons Jeremy and wife Jenna Hamilton of Washington, Illinois, Trent and wife Lindsay Hamilton of East Peoria, Illinois; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In keeping with John's wishes, he was cremated, and no public services will be held.
