John David Kamler

John David Kamler of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Joe and Ida (Enloe) Kamler on April 6, 1940 in Cuba, Missouri. He left from this life on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his home at the age of 78 years. John was united in marriage to Lillian R. Falkenrath and to this union three sons were born James P., John W. and Charles. John was the longtime owner and operator of Kamler Heating & Cooling. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. John is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ida (Enloe) Kamler; wife Lillian R. (Falkenrath) Kamler; one brother Curtis Kamler; two sisters Marie Klouzek and Georgetta Shasserre. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his longtime loving companion Grace E. (Mullen) Kaysinger of Cuba; three sons James P. "J.P." Kamler of Cuba, John W. and wife Lisa Kamler of Owensville, Charles "Chuck" Kamler of Cuba; four step-children Kenny and wife Trish Durbin, Kim and husband Edwin Pinnell, Kelley Durbin, Kurt and wife Samantha Kaysinger all of Cuba; six grandchildren Ian, Jamie, Lillian and Evan Kamler, James Callender, Michael Hiatt; eight step-grandchildren Seth and Levi Pinnell, Nick and James Durbin, Amity Kaysinger, Karley, Karson and Karter Kaysinger; two great-grandchildren Clayton and Maddox Dixon; one brother Melvin and wife Noma Kamler of Cuba; one sister Frances and husband Hugh McNary of Union; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 7:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Woodrow Martin, officiating. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Cuba Animal Shelter. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Kamler family.
