Jesse Aaron Moritz

Jesse Aaron Moritz of Sullivan, Missouri was born on Saturday, November 27, 1982 in Kirkwood, Missouri to Marshall Mark Moritz and Kimberly Ann (Pyatt) Moritz. He left from this life suddenly on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 34 years. Jesse was united in marriage to Crystal Elizabeth Chancellor on January 16, 2007 in Steelville, Missouri. He was a construction worker. He enjoyed music, dancing, working out, running and his two favorite sports teams were the Minnesota Vikings and the St. Louis Cardinals . Jesse is preceded in death by his father Marshall Mark Moritz; grandparents Leroy and Nelda Pyatt, Marshall Moritz and Betty Jane Shaw. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his mother Kimberly Ann Pyatt of Union, Missouri; wife Crystal (Chancellor) Moritz of Sullivan, Missouri; daughters Regan Moritz and Madeline Moritz of Wa Keeney, Kansas, Marianna Moritz of Sullivan, Missouri and his soon to be son, Jesse A. Moritz II; brother Brian Moritz of Steelville, Missouri; sisters Lorene (Matt) Knight of Union, Missouri, Katrina Pyatt of Cuba, Missouri; grandparents Auzzie and Nina Moses of Steelville, Missouri; father-in-law and mother-in-law Paul and Mary Jo Chancellor of Cuba, Missouri; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 7:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Jarvis, officiating. Jesse will be cremated following the visitation and funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family for funeral expenses. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Moritz family.
