Jerry Ross "JR" Parker

Jerry Ross “JR” Parker of Cuba, Missouri was born on May 9, 1939, in Lafayette, Indiana to the union of Willis H. and Lois A. (Janette) Parker. He left this life at his home on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the age of 84.

JR was an over the road truck driver for many years, before retiring. He enjoyed road trips, ocean cruising and being on the open road on his Harley. He was a member of BACA – Bikers Against Child Abuse.  

JR was preceded in death by his parents Willis H. and Lois A. (Janette) Parker; one sister Bonnie Ann Parker.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his longtime companion and best friend Brenda Hansel of Cuba; like a son Charles Nathan and wife Donna Short of Sarcoxie; granddaughter Kaitlyn Short of Sarcoxie; three great-grandchildren Ethen, Hunter and Waylon; fur baby friends Bella, Millie, Gracie, Claire, Teddy, Co Co and Willow.

In keeping with his wishes, JR will be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
