Jeremy Dean Williams

Jeremy Dean Williams of Rolla, Missouri, formerly of Cuba, was born Friday, December 18, 1992 at St. Louis, Missouri to Mark A. Williams and Denise A. Basham. Jeremy left from this life on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at his home in Rolla at the age of 26 years. Jeremy attended school until the 8th grade at Cuba and he went to high school and graduated from Rolla. He was always a great friend and would help anyone. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and golfing with his dad. He spent hours writing music and singing. He loved animals, his friends, his family and his job. Since January 2017 Jeremy had been a Marine Tug-man (deck hand) for SCF Bunge/Marine. He loved being on the water because he said it was "peaceful". Jeremy had a great faith and one of his favorite Bible verses was Isiah 41 verse 10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.". What Jeremy treasured most in life was spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, great nephew, great-great nephew, cousin and friend of everyone he ever met. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving mother Denise A. Basham and Skip Sheleski of Cuba, father Mark A. and wife Tammy Williams of Rolla, three brothers; Ryan Lee Williams of El Paso, Texas, Morgan J. Wilson and Steven R. Wilson both of Rolla, grandparents; Becky Basham, Bob Basham, Richard Williams and Karen Williams all of Cuba, aunts and uncles Jason and Jennifer Basham of Cuba, Christina Basham-Steen of St. James, Kevin and Chris Williams of Cuba, Kirk and Susan Buhr of Rolla, great aunts and uncles; Doug and Sandy Winn of Iowa, Donnie and Linda Burke of Iowa, Dave and Ann Coleman of St. Louis, James Williams of Springfield, Missouri and Arlen and Dee Tappan of Topeka, Kansas, great-great aunt and uncle Jerry and Earlene McGinnis of North Carolina, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Mizell Funeral Home with Mark Miller officiating. Special recorded music will be "Wind Beneath My Wings", "Everglow" and "Welcome to My Funeral". The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Jeremy's family.
