Jeanne Malcom Beaman of Cuba, Missouri was born Saturday, August 5, 1916 to James Ernest and Gladys (nee: Whitfield) Malcom in Sydney, Australia and left from this life on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the age of 92 years and 9 days. Jeanne married Glen Roy Beaman in Kansas City, Missouri on February 1, 1941, where she had attended Kansas City Junior College, and earned an RN degree at Kansas University School of Medicine. She worked at both local hospitals and was a Crawford County public health nurse for fifteen years (1963-1978). Jeanne enjoyed traveling, painting and other artistic endeavors. Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents James E. and Gladys Malcom, her husband Glen Beaman and one daughter Sandra Tate. Those who remain to mourn her passing is her daughter Linda B. Baldino of Philadelphia, PA, her son John M. Beaman, M.D., daughter-in-law Sandra, granddaughter Rhyan, all of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and two half sisters Faye and Veronica of Sydney, Australia. Memorial visitation Sunday, August 17th from 1 til 2 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Memorial service Sunday, August 17th at 2 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Paul Lathum officiating. Special music "Whispering Hope" and "In the Garden" sang by Paul Lathum and organist Darlene Cape. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Beaman family.
