Janet A. Moreland

Janet A. Moreland of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Sylvester and Sylvia (Saunders) Magner on November 6, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky and left from this life on Friday, February 27, 2009 in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 77. Janet was united in marriage to Eugene Moreland on April 21, 1961 in Clayton, Missouri. Janet retired from the H.B.E. Company in Creve Coeur, Missouri after years of dedicated service. Her family, dogs and friends were the most important part of her life and she enjoyed all of the times that they shared together. In her spare time she enjoyed animals, reading books and knitting. Janet is preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Sylvia (Saunders) Magner and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to cherish her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Eugene Moreland; two sons Donald 郢邀邜Skip郢邀邝 and wife Patti Moreland of Union, Missouri , Scott and wife Charlotte Moreland of Rockford, Illinois; seven grandchildren Chris and wife Leslie Moreland, Lara and husband David Rufh, Elizabeth and husband Jim Arras, Tony Moreland, Michael and Chris Slane, Lisa Moreland; four great-grandchildren Shayley and Gavin Rufh, Josephine Moreland and Brynna Rufh; one brother Jack and wife Chris Magner of Puckeridge, England; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorial Visitation Tuesday, March 3, 2009 9:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service 10:00 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home with Rev. Melanie Barbarito, officiating. Inurnment Valhalla Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.` In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to Shelter Pals c/o Chris Case, 357 Cherry Valley Road, Steelville, MO 65565.
