James Russell "Russ" Deabler of Ogallala, Nebraska and formerly of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Thursday, November 12, 1970 in Normandy, Missouri. He left from this life suddenly on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at his home at the age of 50 years.
Russ was united in marriage to Katrina (Logan) Deabler on October 10, 2009. They shared twelve years of marriage together.
Russ was a truck driver for FedEx and a singer, song writer and musician for Unfulfilled Fate. He loved anything that had to do with Harry Potter, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.
Russ is preceded in death by his brother Michael Deabler; step-father Arthur "Art" Compton.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Katrina (Logan) Deabler of the home; three children Danielle Ford of Nashville, Tennessee, Aaron Deabler of Rolla, Missouri, Gabrielle Deabler of Bloomington, Indiana; parents Janet (Moffett) Compton of Cuba, Missouri, James Russell and wife Sharon Deabler of Tangerine, Florida; one sister Lori Campisi of Pevely, Missouri; two nieces Sophia Campisi and husband Paul Pierce, Alex Campisi and fiancé Max Mahaney; one nephew Gianni Campisi; aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Jonathan Logan, officiating.
Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Salem, Missouri.
If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the American Heart Association or Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.
