James Edward 'Eddie' Crismon

June 30, 1942 — March 16, 2019

James Edward "Eddie" Crismon of Cuba, Missouri was born on June 30, 1942 in Attica, Arkansas to the union of Fred James and Geannendle (Rose) Crismon. He went home to Heaven on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 76 years. Eddie retired from General Electric as a IT Consultant, after many years of dedicated service. He honorably served in United States Air Force. He was loved dearly and was a friend to all. He will be remembered for his big heart, his love of travel and new experiences, and most of all for his love and devotion to his family, especially to his wife Cuca of 54 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents William Edward and Edna (Montgomery) Crismon, and Almous K and Virgie (Flannery) Rose; one brother, Lonnie Joe Crismon; two brothers-in-law Sherwin Wallace and Van DeVore. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his beloved wife Maria Refugio "Cuca" (Vega) Crismon, of Cuba, Missouri; two children James William (Kathy) Crismon of Wildwood, Missouri and Cynthia Alene Crismon Jones of Affton, Missouri; four grandchildren, Victoria Rose Crismon, Andrew Joseph Crismon, Curtis Khanh Anderson, and Melanie Leonor Anderson; one brother Bill Kenneth and wife Dana Crismon of Minier, Illinois; six sisters Mary Francis Crismon, Naomi Alene and husband Clifford Gaus, and Betty Jane Wallis all of Pocahontas, Arkansas; Edna Rae and husband Carl Phillips of Potosi, Missouri; and Virginia Letain DeVore and Linda Louise and husband J. D. Stake of Searcy, Arkansas; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with Rev. David Veit, officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Crismon family.
