James Anthony 'Jim' Palazzolo

James Anthony Palazzolo of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Benjamin and Clara (Lucchesi) Palazzolo on June 10, 1911 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 102. Jim was united in marriage to Inez "Pat" Shuck on April 29, 1937 in Garry Indiana. Jim retired as a Welder from U.S. Steel Company in Gary, Indiana in 1972. He helped establish and was on the Board of Directors for Indian Hills for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Clara (Lucchesi) Palazzolo; wife Inez "Pat" Palazzolo; three brothers and two sisters Benjamin, Jr., Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph and Samuel; two grandsons Jim Lindeman and Greg Kalmar. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his two daughters Patricia Cookson and friend Bob Brown, Patricia Lindeman all of Cuba, Missouri. eight grandchildren Mark, Steve, Jeff, Kit, Craig and Eddie Lindeman, Karen Shamansky and Dana (Jim) Rothberg; fifiteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and many friends. Private services will be held with interment at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home is Honored to be serving the Palazzolo family.
