Jack S. Price of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Guy C. and Loma Helen (Lashmet) Price on June 15, 1938 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and left from this life on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 76. Jack married Carol Alice Prince on July 9, 1965 in New London, Connecticut. Together they enjoyed forty-nine years of marriage. Jack retired after 22 years of honorable service as a Chief Petty Officer-Torpedoman's Mate for the U.S. Navy. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post #7147, Colorado Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star and Scottish Rite. He enjoyed living at Indian Hills, fishing, being on his boat and researching genealogy on the computer. Jack is preceded in death by his parents; one sister Shirley Moore; three brothers-in-law Carl, Doyle and John Lee Prince. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife of forty-nine years Carol A. Price of Cuba, Missouri; one step-son Billy and wife Becky Ruffian of Orange Park, Florida; two step-grandchildren Clinton and Rebecca Ruffian of Orange Park, Florida; two brothers-in-law Charles and wife Rose Marie Prince of Delta, Colorado, Glenn and wife Sue Prince of Leasburg, Missouri; one sister-in-law Barbara and husband Al Fenn of Ft. Bragg, California; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Private inurnment will be held at the Upper Indian Creek Cemetery in Viburnum, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Price family.
