Jack Edward Lee of Cuba, Missouri was born on July 7, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Harry E. and Ethel (Barth) Lee and left from this life on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Rolla Health and Rehab in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 88 years. Jack honorably served his country in the United States Navy from November 19, 1947 to February 10, 1949. He would later serve in the United States Army from December 27, 1954 to December 27, 1955. He was a retiree of the Maritz Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri. Jack is preceded in death by his parents; one sister Betty Jane Lee; father-in-law John H. Thompson, Jr.; one sister-in-law Rose Osborn. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife of forty-six years Patricia A. Lee of Cuba, Missouri; one son John E. and wife Connie Lee, Jr. of Baltimore, Ohio; three grandchildren Megan Lee of Pickerington, Ohio, Ritchie Murraya of Thurston, Ohio and Joel Murraya of Baltimore, Ohio; one sister June Duncan-Schreiner of St. Louis, Missouri; mother-in-law Angelina Thompson of Cuba, Missouri; two brothers-in-law John H. Thompson, III of St. Louis, Missouri and James Osborn of Louisiana, Missouri; one nephew Scott and wife Patty Duncan of Crystal City, Missouri; one niece Carol and husband Ray Malsch of St. Louis, Missouri; two great-nieces Julia Duncan and Michelle Malsch. As per his wishes, Jack will be cremated. A private family service will be held at Ft. Leonard Wood State Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville, Missouri with full military honors.
