J. Melvin Enloe

November 15, 1919 — April 20, 2012

J. Melvin Enloe of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of James L. and Verona (Graham) Enloe on November 15, 1919 in Cuba, Missouri and left from this life on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Cuba Manor at the age of 92. Melvin was a farmer all of his life and served as the Assessor of Crawford County from 1950 -1958. He honorably served his Country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a former member of the Extension Council and Board member for the Crawford County R2 School District. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time on his farm, being an avid hunter and gardening. Melvin is preceded in death by his parents James L. and Verona (Graham) Enloe; first wife Anna (Lea) Enloe; brother Virgil Enloe; nephew Wayne King; niece Dorris King. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife Marie (Taber) Enloe of Cuba, Missouri; two step-children Jean and husband Vincent Lauck of Springfield, Missouri, Earl and wife Nancy Vincent of Cuba, Missouri; one brother Richard Enloe of Cuba, Missouri; niece Rhonda and husband Rudy Munro of Cuba, Missouri; step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, step-great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 3:00 p.m. at Lea Cemetery in Leasburg, Missouri with Pastor Bob Knight, officiating. Honored to be serving as pallbearers Rick Enloe, Nathan Enloe, Scott Farace, Rick Hope, Doug Easler and Rudy Munro. The Mizell Funeral Home is Honored to be serving the Enloe family.
