Helen Louise Brennan of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday, September 13, 1924 at Cuba, Missouri to the union of Wilson L. and Effie Mary (nee: Monda) McIntosh and left from this life on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 84 years 3 months and 12 days. Helen was united in marriage to Thomas Patrick Brennan on July 23, 1942 at Steelville, Missouri and to this union three children were born William Thomas, Wanda Louise and Mary Sue. Helen spent her life taking care of her home and her family. In her spare time she enjoyed embroidering quilt blocks, quilting, and all of her beautiful flowers, but the most important thing to her, was her family and spending time with them. Helen was a member of the St. Anthony郢邀邙s Catholic Church of Rosati. Helen was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Helen is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Patrick Brennan, parents Wilson and Effie McIntosh, one brother Clarence Eugene McIntosh, three sister-in-laws Betty, Marilyn and Sis McIntosh, one brother-in-law Raymond Hughes and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her son William Thomas 郢邀邜Bill郢邀邝 and wife Linda Brennan of Cuba, two daughters Wanda Louise and husband Larry Lovan of Webster Groves, Missouri and Mary Sue and husband David Wallen of Rolla, five brothers William Alexander McIntosh of Rolla, David Gerald McIntosh of Illinois, Walter E. and wife Shirley McIntosh of Cuba, Jerry Wilson and wife Lorraine McIntosh of Illinois and Dale Lee and wife Pat McIntosh of Cuba, one sister Juanita Mae Hughes of Cuba, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, December 29th from 5 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral mass 11 AM Tuesday, December 30th at St. Anthony郢邀邙s Catholic Church of Rosati with Father David Viet as celebrant. Honored to be serving as Pallbearers were Richard Counts, Ron McIntosh, Ron Monda, Nathan Lovan, David Gold and David Wallen. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Charity of Choice. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Brennan family.
