Harold E. “Bud” McCrary of Cuba, Missouri was born on Friday, January 12, 1934, in Webster Groves, Missouri. He left from this life on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 88.
Bud was a retiree of Schnucks Markets and Meat Cutters Local No. 88. He would then become a real estate agent having worked in St. Louis and later in Cuba.
Bud was dedicated faithful member of Amazing Grace Community Church. He enjoyed living at Indian Hills, golfing, fishing, flirting and going to Shelly’s for breakfast.
Bud is preceded in death by his parents William E. McCrary and Florence (Hammers) Blunt; one brother Don Bentsen.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his two children William McCrary of Wildwood, Beth and husband Mark Gockel of Labadie; five grandchildren Christopher Klenke of Labadie, Amanda and husband Harold Sexauer of Pacific, Kendall McCrary of Ellisville, Shea McCrary of Las Vegas, Melissa Gockel of Baldwin; seven great-grandchildren Christopher, George, Joseph, Huntley, Hayden, Tyler and Jackson; one nephew Alvin Bentsen; one niece Carol Bentsen; other relatives and many friends.
In keeping with his wishes, Bud donated his body to Washington University School of Medicine.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Amazing Grace Community Church 4315 Hwy. 19, Cuba, Missouri.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Amazing Grace Community Church with Pastor Gary Mace, officiating.
If desired, memorials would be appreciated to Amazing Grace Community Church or Washington University School of Medicine.
